The Coatinc Company is the largest surface finishing company in Europe, with more than 2000 employees and 35 locations in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. The cornerstones of the family-owned company are values that are to be carried throughout the company in a contemporary and holistic manner.

Challenging

iD aligned the entire brand communication on the basis of a clear value orientation, which was jointly developed in a dialogical process on all group hierarchies. The new understanding of values is to be established as a guideline for all actions.

The result

True values: The Coatinc Company’s new claim stands for value-preserving surface refinement as well as lived family values, mutual appreciation and strategically sustainable decisions. Reference projects throughout Europe were emotionally shot and a corporate film was also made to stage the values – unique for this industry. The new self-image was rolled out globally in five languages, from murals to brochures and press work. In addition, the company’s website was relaunched and there was ongoing communication in the digital and social media.
