WHAT IS GO-DIGITAL?

go-digital is a funding programme of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWi) and is aimed directly at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The funded measures are intended to provide these companies with more targeted and tailored support in digitalisation.

WHO IS THE GO-DIGITAL FUNDING AIMED AT?

• Medium-sized companies and craft enterprises with technological potential.
• The number of employees must be less than 100.
• The annual turnover in the year the contract is concluded must not exceed 20 million euros.
• The company headquarters or branch office must be located in Germany.
• The company must be eligible for funding under the de minimis regulation.

This already fulfils the most important requirements. With the exception of freelancers such as doctors, lawyers or artists, all commercial enterprises can apply. Find out whether your company is also eligible.

WHAT IS THE FUNDING LEVEL FOR A GO-DIGITAL GRANT?

The funding level of a Go Digital grant can be a grant of up to €16,500 to support the project.

WHAT PERFORMANCES ARE PROMOTED?

1 Digitalisation strategy (new)

Development and implementation of a digitalisation strategy with the aim of developing new or existing functional digital business models and processes. This can include, for example, the introduction of new innovative processes or technologies, (communication) processes, services or also the handling of data. Advice on the introduction of specific products is excluded.

2. IT security

Improvement of IT security and data protection. This specifically involves the integration of measures such as confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity and bindingness into operational procedures and business processes. This is done after a risk and security analysis (assessment of threats and possible vulnerabilities) of the existing or newly planned measures.

3. Digitalised business processes

Measures for the continuous or media-break-free digitalisation of work processes in the company through the introduction of secure electronic, preferably mobile processes. This primarily involves the introduction of appropriate e-business software solutions. The software itself is excluded from funding.

4. Data competence “go-data” (new)

Measures for active participation in the developing data economy. To this end, benefits are to be drawn from the connection of own data with external data sources. The aim of these measures is for companies to make better economic use of their data.

5. Digital market development

Strategic consulting as well as development and implementation of measures to professionalise online marketing in order to increase turnover and improve competitiveness in the long term. This includes, for example, the development of an online marketing strategy, a social media campaign or a content marketing strategy.

Notice:

The module “IT Security” is always included with a part of two consultant days within the scope of this funding programme. This means that no matter which modules are booked, 2 consulting days of “IT Security” are automatically included. Otherwise, all modules can be combined with each other as desired.

WHAT WE ADVISE AND IMPLEMENT AS AN AUTHORISED CONSULTING FIRM.

identitätsverstärker GmbH is an “authorised agency in the go-digital funding programme”. This means that we are not only allowed to provide information on the funding, but also to carry out the consultations and implement the measures. Since 2019, we have been authorised for the previous funding modules “Digital Market Development”, “Digital Business Processes” and “IT Security”. Authorisation applications have been submitted for the newly added modules.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR A GO-DIGITAL GRANT?

The application is submitted by the authorised advisory company – i.e. by us. You will receive the application and all other documents to be signed by you from us. The entire administrative processing of the project runs through us. As an authorised consultancy firm, we are also the recipient of the funding.

WHEN ARE GO-DIGITAL PROJECT APPLICATIONS POSSIBLE?

Applications for go-digital funding can be submitted through us as of now. The processing of the application after submission takes between 8 and 16 weeks, depending on the workload at the project management organisation. The funding project runs from 01 January 2022 to 31 December 2024 inclusive.
